FLIGHT OF THE CROWS
This short and wordless film is about a young woman's struggles after the birth of her first child. The baby's father leaves her to cope on her own and the baby's relentless cries, her difficulties breastfeeding and her lack of sleep contribute to a struggle between her maternal love and the desperation and abandonment she feels alone with her child.
As she tries to cope, she imagines her fears playing out, as if her terrible imaginings are real. Outside her window, first one, then multiple crows stand watch.
She is the subject of their regard and they are of hers.
